Chef de Partie – Pastry / Bakery (Pre-opening Team)


  1. Assist in the day-to-day activities of the pastry kitchen team
  2. Ensure that all food is prepared to the standards as set out for the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef
  3. Control food costs by maintaining accurate records of all food ingredients for pastry
  4. Ensure that all menu items have their recipes recorded, costs tallied and updated on an ongoing basis
  5. Ensure that food waste is kept to a minimum
  6. Follow all operating procedures and identify and correct any organizational problems that impact the effectiveness of the operation
  7. Ensure that all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are adhered to and correct any deficiencies
  8. Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required



  1. Apprenticeship or college level
  2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an International Class Hotel
  3. Proficient in spoken English and Cantonese
  4. People and customer oriented, motivator and self-starter, team builder, displays initiative and creativity, commitment to professional values
